The Serve Team of Faith UMC works hard to provide opportunities for all participants in the life of the congregation to live as the hands and feet of Christ. Whether by traveling to the Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, donating goods to local organizations, or supporting the work of the United Methodist Committee on Relief throughout the year, there are ample opportunities to serve our neighbors near and far.
As just one example, throughout the course of the year, each month provides a new opportunity to support a different charitable organization through the donation of tangible goods. During worhsip on the final Sunday of each month, a member of the Serve Team will provide information to the congregation regarding the upcoming month’s collection and the organization that it will support.
